A Biblical Model For Success

We live in exciting times.

As the economy continues to slouch a blessing is emerging: the return of the independent entrepreneur.  There is a huge and possibly permanent shift taking place as hundreds of thousands of people per month are displaced from their place of employment.  People are finally waking up to the long dormant truth that employment is voluntary servitude and the “security” that it promises is spurious.

Men and women from every background are returning to entrepreneurialism and taking their destinies back into their own hands.  Some experts believe that as much as 20% of our populations will start home-based businesses and never return to the traditional workforce.

The challenge is that the skills necessary for success outside the traditional corporate structure are not taught in schools, and must now be acquired quickly by these new business people.  Personal development becomes a critical factor in their results.

There are plenty of sources in the market offering the knowledge and skills necessary to win the money game.  Unfortunately, most are not based on Biblical wisdom and many are constructed from New Age theology that is dangerous on many levels.

The Bible says that whatever you acquire, acquire understanding; not worldly understanding – Biblical understanding.  In the book of Proverbs alone, the word understanding occurs 40 times and the word wisdom occurs 57 times.  Biblical wisdom and understanding are to be treasured and sought above all things.

“Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who obtains understanding.  For her benefit is more profitable than silver, and her gain is better than gold.  She is more precious than rubies, and none of the things you desire can compare with her.” – Proverbs 3:13-15

Why?

Listen to what Biblical wisdom says about herself:

“Kings reign by means of me, and potentates decree righteousness; by me princes rule, as well as nobles and all righteous judges. I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me. Riches and honor are with me, long-lasting wealth and righteousness.  My fruit is better than the purest gold, and what I produce is better than choice silver.  I walk in the path of righteousness, in the pathway of justice, that I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth, and that I may fill their treasuries.” – Proverbs 8:15-21

Those that attain wisdom in the primary will receive all their other desires in the secondary.  Those who attempt to attain wealth or power or health or prestige without Biblical wisdom, even if they have short-term success, will find their efforts thwarted and long-term will be mired in futility and frustration.

This site is dedicated to helping people achieve success.  We will accomplish that task by taking an unapologetically Biblical approach and creating an unashamedly Biblical model for lasting victory.  We look forward to you joining us.
